"When I first met Neil I couldn't get any traction and he got me excited about my job again.
We're an 'Ideas Company', but I didn't know what that meant to our staff - the fact that his proposition was about managing ideas struck a chord with this, but I would have bought into his proposition whatever our 'idea' happened to be.
My brief to Neil was that the fundamental way the company was structured was flawed and so we needed to re-define the way we worked.
I want Saatchi & Saatchi to be a magnet, to make us a destination and for people to look at this company and say, 'how did they do that?'
The greatest thing tcp did for us was to put some order and meaning to that ambition."

"Going into the exercise, one of our key issues was about not being able to carry on in the same way, in the same structures. We needed to redefine how we worked and tcp have definitely helped us in that respect.
No one internally could have unlocked our people and disarmed our people, in the way that Neil did. It helped them to see both their weaknesses and their skills.
He's got the people he worked with thinking that the company is interested in their views and values them.
He's got them vested. That's a huge achievement.
He's exceptionally good at synchronicity - he'll take individual skills and then apply them to the collective for the overall benefit of the company.
And he's a laser about people, situations and solutions.
He quickly identified that I was someone who got to the finish line and then looked around to see why I was there on my own. He made me realise that I had to jog back to show people the way."

"tcp did not solve anything.
They got the people here to solve it and find the answers.
This is their key proposition in my eyes - anybody who promises that they will find the answer for you is either arrogant or naive.
What I have now is the foundation of where we are going as an 'Ideas Company'. I have a very motivated team out of it and in the process of working with tcp, I have identified my key players for the future.
I've got to use this information to give the right jobs in the new structure.
The people I choose will end up in key roles and that is a tangible delivery of the work with tcp."

"Neil's an infrastructure person - he's not touched our external output at all. That says to me that tcp's proposition is relevant to all manner of clients, not just communication companies.
They are in the 'catalysts' category.
If I were recommending tcp to other people I would say they would give you a very thorough discussion on your key people and how they can perform at their best.
tcp will steer it to the point where your people can see their abilities, or otherwise, for themselves.
Like minded CEO's who have faith and vision in what can be unlocked in their people are tcp's target audience."
