Biographies - Clare Durward - Commercial and Marketing Partner

Clare Durward has spent the last 25 years in media, communications and marketing.

She worked for Eddie Shah's Messenger Newspaper Group, prior to him becoming a Fleet Street proprietor and prior to her move into ITV for the next 12 years of her career. She worked for a number of stations, including LWT and Scottish Television before becoming Marketing Director of one of the consolidated companies of ITV franchises.

In 1996, Clare switched sector to work for international advertising agency, Leo Burnett as Marketing Director and helped drive their global marketing strategy. In 2001, she moved to the world's largest advertising agency, WPP owned J Walter Thompson, where she held the same position.

Following the birth of her youngest child, Clare set up her own marketing and business consultancy, CDC, in 2003. Now in its fourth year, she works with clients from a range of different sectors including advertising, media, catering, lifestyle, design and coaching. Outside her business interests, she is a season ticket holder at Old Trafford and an active crowd controller of three young children.

Clare has worked with The Cassie Partnership since its launch, as a commercial and marketing partner.
